Bachelor of Pharmacy or B.Pharma is a 4 years undergraduate degree course that can be pursued after clearing class 12 board exams. As a pre-requisite for making a career as a pharmacist, it is necessary to have prior knowledge in Science and its related subjects as it deals with the process and methods of drug preparation and medicine dispensing. The basic B Pharmacy eligibility is that, students who cleared the Class 12 board exam with mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics along with 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA are eligible and can apply for the B Pharmacy course.
As per B Pharma eligibility criteria students who pass the Class 12 board exam with 50% aggregate marks in mandatory areas such as physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics are eligible to apply for the B Pharma course. B Pharma admissions are done based on both entrance exams and on a merit basis. Candidates must fill in the B Pharma online application form to get admission to the college of their choice., Entrance exams such as UPSEE, GPAT, NEET, BITSAT, MHT - CET, and others are held for admission in the B Pharma course. Every year, India produces approximately 2,62,698 individuals who complete various B Pharma degree and certificate programs.

The 4 year B.Pharm. Curriculum is prescribed by PCI and has been divided into 8 semesters and it includes lectures, tutorials, practicals, seminars and projects etc. in addition to industrial training and educational tour etc. as defined in the schemes of instructions and examinations and executive instructions issued by the University from time to time. The curriculum will also include other curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities as prescribed by the University from time to time.
